It's been a while, but the camera came out with us today and I mangaed to snap a few half decent pics of the girls. Raani is 21 months next week. How time flies.
It's been some time since I've blogged. Much has happened in recent months, and much of that has not been good and not been what I would choose to share with the rest of cyberspace. However my special girl Tali is two today, and that certainly merits a post. Hopefully it might even prompt a more regular contribution to the blog. For now, here are some pictures from earlier today. Not the best I've ever taken. The light was poor, and the dogs were running like the wind rather than posing for pictures. That's what happy dogs do!
Tali was 20 months old on 25th October. I'm a bit late with this posting, because I didn't get many good pictures on the day. They caught and ate a rabbit, then it started raining hard and the camera was put away. The following Sunday, I took over 100 pictures, but precious few of them were printworthy. Here's the best of a bad bunch. Must do better!
Hi. I'm 52 years old, and am the reigning bench press world champion and world record holder in the Masters 3 100 Kilo Class. I'm an ex local government officer and ex gym owner who became a successful powerlifter at the age of 50. I now earn a living through my dream job - public speaking.
I was always a good speaker, even in my early schooldays. Now my powerlifting successes have given me a peg to hang my speaking on and
I deliver a powerful motivational talk about overcoming adversity to achieve success. I'm an experienced Master of Ceremonies who normally does sporting events, but I'm a good speaker who's available for any type of compering.
I'm also an entertaining after dinner speaker. As an associate member of the Professional Speakers' Association, I'm committed to establishing and maintaining the highest possible standards while keeping my fees affordable and realistic. Check out my website - www.martinflett.com - for more details.
When I'm not out meeting people or delivering one of my talks, I'm writing two books. One a work of fiction; the other a motivational book based on my powerlifting experiences.
