- Hi. I'm 52 years old, and am the reigning bench press world champion and world record holder in the Masters 3 100 Kilo Class. I'm an ex local government officer and ex gym owner who became a successful powerlifter at the age of 50. I now earn a living through my dream job - public speaking. I was always a good speaker, even in my early schooldays. Now my powerlifting successes have given me a peg to hang my speaking on and I deliver a powerful motivational talk about overcoming adversity to achieve success. I'm an experienced Master of Ceremonies who normally does sporting events, but I'm a good speaker who's available for any type of compering. I'm also an entertaining after dinner speaker.
